Independence Without Isolation
Running on your own should not mean being alone. Atelier 27 gives you a chair of your own, with colleagues beside you, a proper space behind you, and people to share coffee, product knowledge and honest conversation with. You work for yourself, never by yourself.
Why Atelier 27 Exists
After years inside busy commercial salons, I watched too many skilled stylists want to go independent and end up renting a chair in a beige, anonymous room. So I built the room I always wanted for myself: a small collective, a generous space, warm light, good coffee. Then I invited people I believe in to share it.
I built Atelier 27 for the same reason I needed it myself. For years, I worked between Stockholm and Asia while running my own studio. I loved the freedom of working independently — but I also knew how much responsibility came with carrying a space on your own.
Atelier 27 is my answer to that tension: independence without isolation.
A platform for independent work, events and exchange.
Atelier 27 is a working collective first, but it is also a place where brands can be presented, small pop-ups can live, and conversations can happen across markets and communities.
In the long term, the space will support creative exchange between Stockholm and the Asian hair and beauty world — opening the door for visiting artists, product launches and quiet collaborations.
