Atelier 27 was founded to give independent hair professionals in Stockholm a beautiful, calm place to work — without the overhead, politics or noise of a traditional salon.
Why we built it
After years inside busy commercial salons, we watched too many skilled stylists want to go independent and end up renting a chair in a beige, anonymous room. So we built the room we always wanted for ourselves: a small collective, a generous space, warm light, good coffee. Then we invited people we believe in to share it.
A platform for independent work, events and exchange.
Atelier 27 is a working collective first, but it is also a place where brands can be presented, small pop-ups can live, and conversations can happen across markets and communities.
In the long term, the space will support creative exchange between Stockholm and the Asian hair and beauty world — opening the door for visiting artists, product launches and quiet collaborations.
